Much can be said for starting small. There are the obvious cost advantages of building a 500 square foot cabin compared to a 2000 square foot log home: fewer materials, less labor, smaller space means reduced heating and cooling costs, etc. If you’ve never experienced log living first hand, but want to give it a try, a log cabin or log camp is just the place to start looking. In fact, it’s not uncommon for a new log cabin owner to become so enamored with the rustic charm of their cabin that they decide to build a log home to become their primary residence.
The log cabin / log camp plans we have selected here range in size from 138 square feet to 575 square feet and are ideal for hunting camps, weekend retreats or vacation cottages. You can select plans with complete kitchens, 2 bedrooms, full baths, large living spaces, lofts and relaxing porches. Our design team can work with you to customize any of the plans you see to create the perfect log cabin for you. In fact, almost off of the log cabin plans we produce are customized from one of these templates, which means that no one will have a log cabin just like yours.
