Log Home Kits, Packages and Prices

The first thing any log home consultant or advisor will tell you is that no two log home kits are the same.  Each manufacturer has its own kit packages and there are no industry standards defining what is included.  From a consumer’s perspective, it can seem helpful to get materials lists and cost quotes from several log home manufacturers to conduct price comparisons.  Unfortunately, this ritual often makes the process more confusing as shoppers usually end up comparing apples to oranges.  Additionally, it is difficult to put cost estimates on intangible value-adds such as service, support and experience. All log homes come as a weathertight shell: logs, matching log siding, lofts, railings, porches, decks, windows, doors, soffits, fascia, shingles, rafters, trusses, interior wall framing, ice and water shield and porch vee joint T & G for ceilings. All prices are Ex-works (EXW) our factory in Plattsburgh, New York.

Log Home Kits Are Not Created Equal

Each of the log home kits you will see on this site has standard log home kit pricing for our Weather Tight Shell (WTS) package.  There are four different prices: 6” pine logs, 6” cedar logs, 8” pine logs and 8” cedar logs.  This log home package pricing is not intended to be a contractual price, but more a solid estimate to give shoppers a realistic idea of what the standard log home kits cost (remember, 95% of the log home kits we produce are customized).  Free firm quotes are available upon request.
