Lifetime Limited Warranty
Cedar Knoll Log Homes, Inc. confidently and proudly warrants it’s manufactured log wall products against defects in production or graded quality for as long as the original purchaser owns the home. Cedar Knoll Log Homes will, at its option, repair or replace any part of its log wall system found by our inspection to be defective.
Warranty Exclusions
Damages caused by improper kit assembly, design changes, construction not in compliance with all applicable building codes, improper materials storage or handling, movement or reassembly of all or part of the structure, or erection divergent from the contractual blueprints are excluded.
Damages caused by insects or rodents, root systems, improper foundation erection, improper application or failure to apply scheduled exterior stain and/’or preservative as per manufacturer’s recommendations are excluded.
No liability is accepted for the natural characteristics of wood to change color, shrink, check, warp, crack, or twist unless such condition results in an inclusive (clear through) split or causes verified structural weakness.
All other components of Cedar Knoll Log Homes kits, such as windows, doors, caulk, sealants, etc. are specifically warranted by their individual manufacturers, if at all.
Cedar Knoll Log Homes extends no additional warranties to products not manufactured at their own mill.
We will be pleased to assist purchaser with contact information in the event of claims.
Purchaser shall give immediate written notice to Cedar Knoll Log Homes, Inc. upon discovery of a potential warranty claim. Purchaser shall cooperate wholly with Cedar Knoll Log Homes representatives in the handling and resolution of warranty issues.
Purchaser agrees to adequately protect or store any product that may be subject to a warranty claim until final resolution of issue.
This Limited Warranty exists in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, written or oral, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use or purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Cedar Knoll Log Homes, Inc. shall not be responsible for any consequential or incidental damages, loss of time, loss of profit or income, loss of use, physical injury or harm.
